Ankh — Cufflinks — 18k Yellow Gold
Description
Each cufflink presents a sculpted Ankh on the front, balanced by a smaller Ankh on the reverse, connected by a slender bar that passes cleanly through the cuff. The form is architectural and intentional, designed to sit flush and composed once fastened.
Worn at the wrist, the Ankh reads as a quiet sign of continuity and presence. The repetition of the symbol front and back gives the piece a sense of completion without display, allowing its meaning to be carried rather than announced.
The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol associated with life and continuity. Its form combines a vertical stem, a horizontal bar, and a looped upper element arranged in deliberate proportion.
In ancient Egypt, the Ankh signified life as something sustained and maintained — breath, vitality, and continued existence — rather than a temporary or abstract state.
