Shen — Ring — Double Link Band — Bezel-Set Diamond — 18k Rose Gold

This ring is composed of two offset rows, each formed from four closed shen rings and four cartouche forms. Eight bezel-set diamonds are distributed evenly across the band, set within the circular portions of the design.

Worn on the hand, the diamonds introduce a steady articulation within the layered geometry. The ring presents protection as something reinforced, structured, and precisely held.

The shen is an ancient Egyptian symbol formed as a closed loop, often shown tied at one end. Its continuous shape has no visible beginning or end. The form expresses enclosure and completeness.

In ancient Egypt, the shen signified protection and endurance over time. The closed loop represented that which was contained, safeguarded, and preserved. The cartouche developed as an elongated expression of this same principle, used to enclose royal names and protect identity within a defined boundary.
