Shen — Ring — Cartouche Band — 18k Rose Gold
Description
This ring is formed entirely from three cartouche elements joined into a continuous band. Each elongated form defines a contained boundary, repeated in sequence around the finger.
Worn on the hand, the repeated frames create a steady rhythm of containment. The ring presents protection through definition, with identity held and preserved through structure.
The Shen is an ancient Egyptian symbol formed as a closed loop, expressing enclosure and continuity. Its geometry established protection as something maintained through wholeness.
The cartouche evolved as an elongated expression of the Shen, designed to enclose royal names. By extending the closed boundary, the form preserved identity itself, ensuring continuity, legitimacy, and endurance over time.
